In 2018, her work was also honored with the Jamnagar Business Excellence Recognition for her entrepreneurial success in building a self-sustaining beauty academy and ladies salon near Digvijay Plot.

Urmi's Artistry Philosophy

Urmi's approach is rooted in "affordable luxury" – creating an editorial, premium look that remains fully accessible. She believes that beauty should look luminous, natural, and true to the client's skin tone. Urmi does not believe in using makeup to cover or lighten skin; rather, she engineers bases that enhance the bride's natural radiance and withstand the humidity and long hours of Saurashtra ceremonies.

Beyond styling brides, Urmi has trained over 500 graduates at the Feelings Beauty Academy. She leads all diploma and certificate courses, sharing her 15+ years of practical business and cosmetic knowledge with the next generation of Gujarati makeup artists. Her graduates now run successful parlours and freelance businesses across Gujarat.
