Keratin vs Nano Plastia vs Smoothening: Prices by Hair Length in Jamnagar

If your hair puffs up the moment you step outside, you have probably been told to get keratin, nano plastia or smoothening, sometimes all three in the same week. They are not the same treatment, and they are not the same price. This guide explains what each one does, who it suits, and what it costs at our studio, by hair length.

What is the difference between keratin, nano plastia and smoothening?

All three make hair smoother and easier to manage, and all three end the same way: the hair is dried and sealed with a flat iron, section by section. The difference is how far each one goes.

• Keratin: a smoothing treatment that coats the hair with a keratin formula. It calms frizz, adds shine and loosens waves, and the effect softens gradually as you wash your hair. Choose it if you want less frizz, not poker-straight hair.
• Nano plastia: another smoothing treatment, usually made with amino acids and other conditioning ingredients. It is often chosen by people who want smoother, straighter-looking hair than keratin gives, with a soft feel. Products differ from brand to brand, so ask how straight the result is meant to be.
• Smoothening: a straightening cream changes the hair's structure, a neutraliser sets it, and the result is clearly straight hair. The treated hair stays straight; new growth comes in with your natural texture, so the roots need care later.

How much does keratin cost in Jamnagar?

At Feelings Beauty Care, keratin comes in two levels and three hair lengths. Basic keratin is ₹3,000 to ₹4,000 and advanced keratin ₹4,000 to ₹5,000:

• Shoulder length: basic ₹3,000, advanced ₹4,000
• Up to waist: basic ₹3,500, advanced ₹4,500
• Below waist: basic ₹4,000, advanced ₹5,000

Not the same as the keratin hair spa (₹1,500), which is a conditioning spa treatment, not a smoothing one.

How much does nano plastia cost?

Nano plastia also comes in two levels. Basic nano plastia is ₹5,000 to ₹7,500 and premium nano plastia ₹6,000 to ₹8,000:

• Shoulder length: basic ₹5,000, premium ₹6,000
• Up to waist: basic ₹6,500, premium ₹7,000
• Below waist: basic ₹7,500, premium ₹8,000

How much does hair smoothening cost?

Smoothening is ₹3,999 to ₹7,000, priced by its own four hair lengths:

• Shoulder length: ₹3,999
• Medium hair: ₹4,999
• Long hair: ₹5,500
• Extra long hair: ₹7,000

Which one should you choose?

• Your hair is frizzy in humidity, but you like its shape: keratin. It comes as basic or advanced; ask us which suits your hair.
• You want hair that looks straighter and smoother than keratin, with a soft feel: ask about nano plastia.
• You want clearly straight hair: smoothening.
• Your hair is coloured, bleached or very dry: tell us first. Damaged hair sometimes needs conditioning, such as a hair spa, before any smoothing treatment.
• Not sure? We look at your hair, ask what you want from it, and suggest one before anything starts.

What decides your final price?

• Hair length: shoulder length, up to the waist or below the waist for keratin and nano plastia; four lengths for smoothening.
• The level you choose: basic or advanced keratin, basic or premium nano plastia.
• Anything extra you choose, such as a haircut or a hair spa first, is priced separately on the same list. Ask us to confirm the total for your hair before we start.

How do you look after smoothed hair?

• Wait before the first wash for as long as your stylist advises, and avoid tying your hair back or tucking it behind your ears for the first few days.
• Use a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner.
• Rinse your hair after a swimming pool or the sea.
• Use a heat protectant before blow-drying or straightening.
• Planning a wedding? Have any smoothing treatment a few weeks before, not in the final days, so your hair has time to settle.

Booking a smoothing treatment

These treatments take a few hours, so please book ahead rather than walking in. We are open Monday to Saturday, 10 am – 8 pm, and Sunday, 10 am – 1 pm, at Om Residency, Hirji Mistry Road, Near J J Tower, Jamnagar 361006. Sundays are short, so a weekday is easier for a long treatment.
