Facials in Jamnagar: Which Facial Is Right for Your Skin?
Walk into any parlour and the facial menu can feel like a guessing game. The right facial depends on what your skin needs today: more glow, more moisture, less tan or a deep clean. Here is what each facial on our menu is for, and how to pick the one that suits you.
Which facials do we offer?
There are four facials on our salon menu, each with a different job:
- Gold facial: a brightening facial for special occasions.
- Hydra facial: deep cleansing and hydration in one session.
- De-tan and brightening: treats tanning and uneven tone.
- Cleansing facial: a deep clean for clear, fresh skin.
You can see them with threading, waxing and the rest of our skin and body care on the salon page.
Which facial suits your skin?
- Skin looks dull before a function: the gold facial is the brightening one, made for special occasions.
- Skin feels dry or tight: the hydra facial cleans deeply and hydrates in the same session.
- Tanned from the sun, or uneven in tone: de-tan and brightening is made for exactly that.
- Oily, congested or simply due a deep clean: the cleansing facial. If you usually ask for a clean-up, this is the one to ask about.
- Not sure? We look at your skin first and suggest one. You can also ask us on WhatsApp before you come in.
What if you have acne-prone or sensitive skin?
Tell us before the facial starts. Mention allergies, sensitive skin, recent peels, and any creams or tablets a doctor has prescribed, because some of them make skin more sensitive. A facial is skin care, not medical treatment: for painful, deep or scarring acne, see a dermatologist. Our guide to acne-prone skin explains what a facial can and can't do.
Which facial should you have before a function or a wedding?
For a party, a reception or a festival, the gold facial is the one made for special occasions. Whichever you choose, do not try a facial you have never had right before a big day. If your skin reacts, there is no time for it to settle. Book a few days ahead, and choose one your skin already knows.
Brides need a longer plan. Facials work best as a series, not a single visit, so our pre-bridal care starts 30 to 60 days before the wedding, and the last week has no new facials, peels or products. Our pre-bridal package guide shows how the weeks are laid out.
How should you prepare for a facial, and care for your skin after it?
- Come without heavy makeup if you can. It saves time and lets us see your skin as it is.
- Skip waxing or threading on the same areas just before a facial, unless we have planned them together.
- For the rest of the day, keep it simple: a gentle cleanser, moisturiser and no heavy makeup.
- Wear sunscreen every day after a de-tan, or the tan comes back.
- Keep up a simple routine at home between visits. Our pre-bridal skincare routine works for anyone, bride or not.
